PAST & PRESENT

Langham currently houses a population of just over 1,000 people within the parish boundaries.

The majority of the population lies in the southern half of the Parish. The Parish Church (St Mary's) lies toward the northern edge of the Parish, at the lip of the escarpment leading down to the parish boundary formed by the River Stour (which also marks the Essex/Suffolk border).

Langham is a village and civil parish in the north east of Essex, England approximately 5 miles north of Colchester - close to junction 28 on the A12.
