Langham is a small rural community situated just north-east of Colchester and lying partly within the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The village is well served by two Schools, a Parish Church, a Community Shop, a Community Centre, Recreation Ground and a Village Pub. Although mostly residential, the village is also home to a handful of small business parks.
